[September 1, 2010; Philadelphia, PA] – Joan C. Hendricks, the Gilbert S. Kahn Dean of University of Pennsylvania’s School of Veterinary Medicine, recently announced the addition and/or promotion of several faculty at Penn Vet.
“I am pleased to welcome these new faculty members to the Penn Vet team and have tremendous pride for those faculty who have earned promotions within the school,” said Dean Hendricks. “Teaching is one of our core missions and it gives me great satisfaction watching these individuals attain success in their careers.”
Joining as new faculty members are:
- Dr. Kimberly A. Agnello as Assistant Professor of Orthopedic Surgery, Clinician-Educator, Department of Clinical Studies-Philadelphia;
- Dr. Amy Durham as Assistant Professor of Anatomic Pathology, Clinician-Educator, Department of Pathobiology;
- Dr. Roberta DiTerlizzi as Assistant Professor of Clinical Pathology, Clinician-Educator, Department of Pathobiology;
- Dr. Carolina Lopez as Assistant Professor of Microbiology and Immunology;
- Dr. James Marx as Assistant Professor of Laboratory Animal Medicine, Clinician-Educator, Department of Pathobiology.
