[August 2, 2011; Philadelphia, PA] – For the third consecutive year, the Lehigh Parkway will play host to the Bruiser and Sarge 5K, a walk/run to raise funds for canine cancer research at the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine (Penn Vet).

To date, the event has raised more than $30,000 to support canine cancer research at Penn Vet. For more information or to register, visit www.the-bruiser-5-k.org. Walking participants may walk with their dogs, provided the dog has up-to-date vaccinations.
