Clinical Pathology

Clinical pathology is the study of disease in the living animal and encompasses hematology, clinical chemistry, cytopathology, endocrinology, urinalysis, coagulation, immunohematology, laboratory management and general pathology.

We provide services to Matthew J. Ryan Veterinary Hospital patients, as well as researchers and veterinarians in the outside community.
Laboratory Hours:
Weekdays 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. (last specimen by 5:30 p.m.)
Weekends 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. (last specimen by 1:30 p.m.)
Pathologist Hours:
Cytology submissions between 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. are guaranteed same day results. Emergency, critical care and STAT submissions will be read as they are received and will be accepted until 5:00 p.m.
