Faculty/SCAVMA Loan Fund
If you are a student at the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine with a financial emergency, Ashra Markowitz can provide you with a check from the Faculty/SCAVMA Loan Fund. You may borrow up to $1,000.00 interest free for a period of four months, at which time the loan must be repaid. Failure to repay the loan on time results in withholding of grade reports and transcripts. If the loan is not repaid within six months, future Faculty/SCAVMA loans will be prohibited. This loan may be requested only ONCE per semester.
