Trainees also participate in weekly microscopic and gross rounds, and monthly specialty rounds including ophthalmic pathology, neuropathology, dermatopathology, laboratory animal pathology, and journal club. Residents can also complete externships outside of the University, including an 8-week program at Novartis.
