A Research Associate position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Serge Y. Fuchs in the Department of Animal Biology, School of Veterinary Medicine to lead the studies on the mechanisms underlying downregulation of interferon receptor endocytosis and its role in inflammation, cancer and infectious diseases. We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a PhD, MD, DVM, or equivalent degree obtained within the last six years.
A successful candidate should have extensive research experience, documented record of peer-reviewed publications, and a very strong background molecular biology, protein biochemistry, cell biology including receptor endocytosis studies, mouse genetics in general and generation of transgenic animals in particular, in vivo work on the animal models of cancer and immune/inflammatory disorders.

A Research Associate position is immediately available in the Department of Animal Biology at the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine to study the Ndr kinase signaling, polarized growth, and RNP function in yeast and mammalian cells. The successful candidate should have a Ph.D. degree in a Biomedical Research related field, at least 4 years of postdoctoral experience, and at least two years of experience in yeast genetics and cell biology, mouse transgenics, RNAi, live cell confocal microscopy and signal transduction.
