Description of Research Expertise

Oncologic pathology with a particular interest in lymphoma and employing the World Health Organization classification system for lymphoid neoplasms in domestic animals. One goal of the research is to identify certain subtypes of lymphomas and correlate these subtypes to clinical behavior and optimal treatment protocols. We also hope to gain more insight into these diseases in humans, using the dog as a spontaneous large animal model.

Description of Clinical Expertise

Clinical diagnostics on our surgical biopsy service with an interest in lymphoid neoplasms and ophthalmic pathology as well as participation in our autopsy service.
