Darryl N. Biery, DVM, Dipl ACVR
Professor Emeritus of Radiology
Dr Biery obtained his DVM from Ohio State University in 1964 and then a Certificate of Medical Sciences (Radiology), at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine in 1967. He completed an internship at the Animal Medical Center in New York in 1965. He went through a residency training in radiology across several institutions including the New York Hospital - Cornell Medical College; the Animal Medical Center, New York; and the School of Veterinary Medicine, University of Pennsylvania. He was then a Post-Doctoral Fellow in Comparative Oncology at the School of Veterinary Medicine, University of Pennsylvania and became a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Medicine in 1969. He spent his entire career teaching Veterinary Radiology at the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine and is now a Professor Emeritus of Veterinary Radiology. He is also a honorary member of the European College of Veterinary Radiology.

Ana Caceres, DVM, Dipl ACVR
Staff Veterinarian
Lecturer in Radiology
Dr Caceres received her DVM from Tuskegee University, Alabama in 1999 and after a few years in private practice she completed a residency in radiology at the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine. She became a Diplomate in the American College of Veterinary Radiology in 2006 and is now a staff veterinarian in radiology.

Lillian E. Duda, VMD, Dipl. ACVR, (R.O.)
Radiation Therapy, Adjunct Associate Professor of Radiation
Oncology
Dr Duda obtained her VMD degree from the University of Pennsylvania in 1990 and completed a residency in radiation oncology at the same institution. She became a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Radiology (Radiation Oncology) in 1996 and since then has been the radiation oncologist at the Veterinary Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. She is now an Adjunct Associate Professor of Radiation Oncology and her clinical interests include Palliative radiation, end-of-life care. Her research interests include ethics in clinical trials and informed consent process as well as spontaneous animal models of human diseases.

Wilfried Mai, Dr Med Vet, PhD, MSc, Dipl ECVDI, Dipl ACVR, Cert Clin Res

Dr Mai received his Dr Med Vet from the School of Veterinary Medicine of Maisons-Alfort, France, in 1995 and after a 2-year internship in small animal internal medicine he completed a residency training in radiology and a MS in biomedical engineering in Lyon, France. He then completed a PhD in biomedical engineering in Lyon, France (Univ Cl Bernard) and at Duke University, North Carolina. He became a Diplomate of the European College of Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging in 2000 and a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Radiology in 2006.

Yael Porat-Mosenco, DVM, Dipl ECVDI, Dipl ACVR
Staff Veterinarian, Radiology
Dr Porat-Mosenco received her DVM from Utrecht University, The Netherlands and completed a radiology residency at the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine. She became a Diplomate of the European College of Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging in 2007 and is now a staff veterinarian in radiology at Ryan.

Jennifer Reetz, DVM, Dip ACVIM, Dipl ACVR
Staff Veterinarian
Lecturer in Radiology
Dr Reetz received her DVM from the University of Tennessee and completed a residency in internal medicine (Large Animal) at Cornell and a residency in radiology at Upenn. She is double boarded in internal medicine (LA) and in veterinary radiology (DACVIM, DACVR). She is now a staff veterinarian in radiology at Ryan.

Jeffrey A. Wortman, VMD, PhD, Dipl ACVR
Associate Professor of Radiology
Dr Wortman received his VMD from the University of Pennsylvania in 1969 and completed a PhD at the University of California, Davis in 1979. He completed a residency in radiology at UC-Davis and became a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Radiology in 1977. He is an associate professor of radiology at Ryan.
