Introduction
The Laboratories of Anatomy provide four core courses in the first year curriculum. They are:
- Comparative Veterinary Anatomy
- Histology
- Development
- Neuroscience.
These courses span the classical to modern aspects of
anatomy in the veterinary curriculum providing the structural context for cell and molecular biology, biochemistry, physiology and pharmacology in preparing students for physical diagnosis, pathology, radiology and surgery.
The faculty are practicing scholars and scientists in Development (cell and molecular level), Neuroscience (systems and behavior), Paleontology, and Clinical Science (surgery and dentistry).
