Ongoing research activities of members of the Section  include:

• genetic and morphologic studies of inherited deafness in the dog
• study of the efficacy of bone marrow transplantation and gene transfer on inherited neurodegenerative disorders 
• development of magnetic resonance techniques to identify and monitor intracranial disorders
