Research & Facilities

Our group is primarily a service division, however we participate in collaborative research as appropriate opportunities develop. We also explore and publish interesting clinical medical cases in a wide variety of animal species in collaboration with our veterinary pathologist. Past research experience of the faculty, and current interests include viral diseases of rodents, viral disease pathogenesis, rodent health quality and health quality programs.

The ULAR Diagnostic Serology laboratory provides on-campus diagnosis of rodent viral infections by the IFA and ELISA techniques.
