Advance Registration

(registration will be available in early 2018)

  • Register through a secure online transaction
  • Request a mailed registration form: email penn-conference@vet.upenn.edu or call 215-746-2421
  • If you mail your registration, please send the form along with your payment postmarked by or received online by 11:59 PM on September 5, 2018.
  • Registrations postmarked after this date will not be processed. Confirmation will be e-mailed to you if your registration is processed online only; no confirmations will be sent via regular mail.
  • Cancellations are accepted in writing until 5:00 p.m. on September 5, 2018, refunds will be made minus a $25 cancellation fee.

2017 - Exciting Features

  • NEW! Business Track

    There is always room for improvement in running an efficient practice – bring someone from your staff to join us for the Business Track on Wednesday, September 27!

  • NEW! Keynote Luncheons Offered Both Days

    The Keynote Luncheons on Wednesday and Thursday are complimentary, but pre-registration is required. Dr. Oliver Garden will speak at the luncheon on Wednesday and his topic is “Clinical Immunology: The Era of Paradigm-busting Innovations in Veterinary Medicine”.  Dr. Daniel Fletcher will speak at the Thursday luncheon and his topic is Critical Care.

  • NEW! Breakfast with Exhibitors Both Mornings

    A special breakfast will be served in the Exhibit Hall on Wednesday and Thursday at 8:00am-9:00am to give registrants more time to visit with exhibitors/sponsors.


Continuing Education Credit

As an institution of higher education, the Penn Annual Conference provides the following clock hours of continuing education. The Conference is also an approved sponsor of continuing education for veterinarians and veterinary technicians within the state of New York.

      You are encouraged to take public transportation to the Conference.  The Chase Center is easily accessible from the city and its suburbs via SEPTA (www.septa.org).

    • Parking

      Parking is free, with over 2400 spaces.

    • Train

      Amtrak provides extensive service to Wilmington, Delaware.

    • Airport

      Located 22 miles from Center City, Philadelphia International Airport is served by all major domestic carriers. Taxi service and public transportation via SEPTA is available.

    • We will have a job posting board set up near registration.

    • The Office of Student and Curricular Affairs also administers the Veterinary Employment Database, where prospective employers can post opportunities and where candidates can search open positions. Only listings requiring a graduate degree in veterinary medicine (VMD/DVM) are accepted. Listings remain active and accessible for six months after they are posted, and can be browsed by date, type of practice, region, or type of employer. There is no charge to list positions or to view them.

  • Interview Room
    • A dedicated room will be available for prospective employers to conduct interviews or speak with potential candidates during the Conference.

    • To request use of this room, please email the date and time for use to penn-conference@vet.upenn.edu or call 215-749-2421.

    • Reservations will be made on a first come first served basis.

    • Women who need access to a private area and refrigeration during PAC hours can use the mothers’ room. The key for this room can be signed in and out at the Information Desk.

    • The coat check is available on the Ballroom Level, near the registration desk.

Students

Penn Vet 4th year students are invited to participate in the Penn Annual Conference.   Please use the registration tab and indicate that you are a current student.  Students in their 1st through 3rd year are invited to network at the conference by volunteering in a variety of capacities working the registration desk, serving as greeters and even introducing our distinguished speakers and serving as session moderators.
