VISITOR POLICY FOR VETERINARIANS
Visiting Academicians are welcome in clinics and classrooms on the basis of individual agreements arranged with members of the faculty, following approval by the Section Chief and the Department Chairman. No fees will be charged.
Visiting Practitioners seeking additional training or wanting to participate on an occasional day or few days in a clinical discipline must be approved by the Section Chief and the Department Chairman. If a Visiting Practitioner wishes to stay longer than 5 working days, he/she will be subject to a fee of $100/day, commencing on the 6th working day. Monies will be allocated to the Section where the visitor spends his/her time.
ALL APPROVED VETERINARY VISITORS ARE GRANTED “OBSERVER” STATUS WITH NO PATIENT CARE RESPONSIBILITIES
It is important that all visiting academicians and practitioners sign a release of responsibility form and provide written evidence of having medical health insurance. All visitors must report to the Chairman’s Office on the day of their arrival to sign in and present the necessary paperwork.

Any deviations from this policy must be approved by the Department Chariman
