For your convenience, gifts to the School may be made in several ways:

  • Online Giving: By making a gift with your credit card through a secure online transaction.
  • Recurring Gifts Option: If you would like to set up a recurring gift that will be charged to your credit card automatically on a monthly, quarterly, semi-annually, or annually basis, please download this form and return it to us by mail or fax.
  • Give By Mail: By sending your check and this form, made payable to the "Trustees of the University of Pennsylvania," to:

Office of Development and Alumni Relations
    University of Pennsylvania
    School of Veterinary Medicine
    3800 Spruce Street
    Philadelphia, PA 19104-6047
  • Give or Pledge By Phone: call 215-898-1480 to give your gift or to make a pledge.
  • Matching Gifts: Matching gifts can double or even triple your gift to the School! If you have already made a gift or are about to make one, please visit the University of Pennsylvania Matching Gifts Database to see if your and/or your spouse's employer has a corporate matching gift program. If you don't find a listing, please contact your human resources department. Don't forget, too, that many employers will match the gifts of their nonemployee directors, retired employees, and the spouses, widows, or widowers of retired employees.
  • Gifts "In Memory Of" or "In Honor Of": Giving a gift in memory/honor of a relative, veterinarian, friend, or pet adds special meaning to your contribution. Several Penn Vet programs are available to allow you to give in this very unique way: http://www.vet.upenn.edu/giving/giving_healing_ryan.html.
  • Transferring Assets: Owners of appreciated assets can obtain substantial tax benefits by transferring those assets directly to the School. First, you will receive an income tax deduction equal to the fair market value of the stock on the effective date of their gift. In addition, you avoid capital gains tax on the transfer. This will help to ensure both timely receipt and appropriate allocation for the gift.
  • Securities: For important University of Pennsylvania account information and to notify the Office of the Treasurer of your gift of securities, please clcik here: online form.
  • Planned Giving: Learn about the benefits of naming the School as a beneficiary of your will, retirement plan, life insurance policy, life income gift or other type of planned giving arrangement by visiting Penn Vet's Planned Giving web page. For additional information, including an example of the benefits of making a gift of appreciated securities, visit the University of Pennsylvania's Office of Gift Planning web page.

For more information on how to support the School, please contact Kate Judge, Assistant Dean for Advancement and Alumni Relations, at (215) 898-1482 or at judge@vet.upenn.edu.
