The Department of Animal Biology in the School of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania has an opening for a Research Associate
position to work on the biochemical, genetic and epigenetic aspects of B cell development. Potential candidates should have 2-3 years of experience in working in B cell development using molecular and cell biological approaches. Experience with bone marrow transfer, retroviral transduction, ChIP, and FACs approaches using wild type, transgenic, and knock-out animal models is desirable. Additionally, expertise in DNA manipulations, generating stable cell lines expressing cDNA, siRNA, shRNA, or conditional CRE vectors is preferred.
