A Research Associate position is immediately available in the Department of Animal Biology at the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine. Work will concentrate on the biochemical, genetic and epigenetic aspects of Mitochondrial Stress Signaling and its role in Tumor Progression. Potential candidates should have 2-3 year experience in working with signal transduction, molecular cell biology and transgenic animal models. Expertise with tissue culture techniques, isolation of subcellular fractions, tumor xenograft in mice, and developing and maintaining transgenic mice are required. Expertise in DNA manipulations, generating stable cell lines expressing cDNA, siRNA and shRNA using Lentiviral or Adenoviral vector are additional requirements.
