We are interested in neural mechanisms of cardiorespiratory disorders during sleep associated with a common disorder known as the Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA) Syndrome. We also explore the basic mechanisms responsible for the generation of Rapid Eye Movement (REM) stage of sleep.
