Attending PAC 2020

Looking to attend this year's Penn Annual Conference? Here's everything you need to know.


  • Traveling to Penn Annual Conference
    • Public Transportation: SEPTA & Amtrak

      Attendees can travel to the conference via public transportation.  The Drexelbrook is easily accessible via SEPTA ( and Amtrak.

    • Parking

      Parking is free, with over 2,400 spaces.

    • Airport

      Located 13 miles from Drexel Hill, Philadelphia International Airport is served by all major domestic carriers. Taxi service and public transportation via SEPTA is available and is approximately a 20 minute drive from the conference.

Job Postings & Interview Room

  • Job Postings
    • We will have a job posting board set up near registration. Employers may bring a printout or flyer of job opportunities and bring it to the registration desk to be included.

    • The Office for Students also administers the Veterinary Employment Database, where prospective employers can post opportunities and where candidates can search open positions. Only listings requiring a graduate degree in veterinary medicine (VMD/DVM) are accepted. Listings remain active and accessible for six months after they are posted, and can be browsed by date, type of practice, region, or type of employer. There is no charge to list positions or to view them.

  • Interview Room
    • A dedicated room will be available for prospective employers to conduct interviews or speak with potential candidates during the Conference.

    • To request use of this room, please email the date and time for use to or call 215-749-2421.

    • Reservations will be made on a first come first served basis. 

About On-Site Services

  • Registration & Information
    • The registration and information desks will be open during the following times:
    • Tuesday, September 22 7:30 AM - 5:30 PM
      Wednesday, September 23 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
    • On-site Registration

       - (additional $50 fee applies)

      If you need to register on-site, you may do so at these times:

      • Tuesday, September 22:  7:30 AM - 9:00 AM
      • Wednesday, September 23: 7:30 AM - 9:00 AM
  • Exhibit Hall
    • The Exhibit Hall is open Tuesday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM and Wednesday from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

    • Please wear your name badge at all times for viewing by the attendant upon entering the Exhibit Hall and meeting rooms.

  • Lactation Station
    • Women who need access to a private area and refrigeration during PAC hours can use the mothers’ room. The key for this room can be signed in and out at the Information Desk.

  • Coat Check
    • The coat check is available in the lobby across from the registration desk.

Here are some answers to some additional frequently asked questions: 

  • How can I register on site?

    PAC strongly encourages pre-registration, as those who register by September 4, 2020, will receive first access to limited registration events and enjoy reduced registration fees. However, on-site registration will be available at the conference registration desk. Onsite registration will be done electronically and our courteous staff will be there to assist you.

  • What are on-site registration hours and fees?

    On-site Registration (additional $50 fee applies)
    Register on-site at the Drexelbrook during the following times:
    •Tuesday, September 22, 2020 – 7:30 AM to 9:00 AM
    •Wednesday, September 23, 2020 – 7:30 AM to 9:00 AM

  • Does the PAC provide on-site child care?

    No, child care is not offered.

  • Will there be food or beverages available to attendees?

    Breakfast will be served beginning at 8:00 AM on both days for all registrants.

    Refreshments will be served during mid-morning and afternoon breaks in the Exhibit Hall for all attendees.

    The Keynote Luncheons on Tuesday and Wednesday are complimentary, but pre-registration is required.

Penn Vet Students

Penn Vet 4th year students are invited to participate in the Penn Annual Conference. Please use the registration tab and indicate that you are a current student. Students in their 1st through 3rd year are invited to network at the conference by volunteering in a variety of capacities working the registration desk, serving as greeters and even introducing our distinguished speakers and serving as session moderators.

Opportunities for clubs and organizations to have a table may also be available.
