VIRTUAL LECTURE: Innovations in Working Dog Health, Olfaction, and Performance – Virtual

Join Dr. Meghan Ramos and Dr. Clara Wilson for a virtual webinar on the current research and clinical advances that are shaping how working dogs are trained and supported throughout their careers. Drawing on the Center’s work in canine physiology, sports medicine, cognition, behavior, genetics, conservation, and more, they will discuss the evidence-based approaches that are helping maintain canine health, optimize performance, and expand the impact of working dogs everywhere.

As the second installment of this three-part lecture series, the program will explore where the field stands today through the Working Dog Center’s major research areas, including in its One Health approach. Topics will include physical conditioning and occupational health, odor discrimination and performance assessment, conservation detection efforts, biomedical detection studies of diseases such as hemangiosarcoma, and more.
