i) Dermatopathology. The identification of spontaneous skin diseases in the dog and cat with an emphasis on new diseases which may be a homolog of diseases in man.
ii) Neoplasia in the dog and cat with emphasis on skin and soft tissue tumors, mammary dysplasia and mammary neoplasia.
iii) Cutaneous leishmaniasis.
