Dr. Mauro obtained her DVM from Michigan State University. She then completed an internship and Emergency and Critical Care residency at the University of Pennsylvania. She became a diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care in 2018. After receiving board certification, she completed a fellowship in Extracorporeal Therapies and Advanced Critical Care Medicine at North Carolina State University.
