Research Associate Position Available: The Department of Clinical Sciences & Advanced Medicine in the School of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania has an opening for a Research Associate position for an individual with PhD to develop CRISPR/Cas9 large animal models of human genetic diseases and to develop large animal model of NPC2 disease.
- Will work in the field of peripheral neuropathies utilizing current animal models to understand the molecular mechanisms of neurodegeneration and develop therapies for hereditary neuropathies for preparation of grant submissions with in a year’s time.
- Expected to present your work at research meetings, prepare manuscripts for publications and apply for intramural and extramural funding.
