On-Farm Outreach Services

Penn Vet’s Equine Herd Health experts are available to provide in-field pharmacology consultation requests, as well as conduct split sample analyses.
As an extension of New Bolton Center Hospital, Penn Vet’s Equine Field Service team provides in-field, specialized clinical care that comes directly to your farm or stable.

The primary focus of Penn Vet’s Equine Pharmacology Laboratory is to better understand, and improve, the welfare of equine athletes through pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic research, including:
