Due to the unfolding COVID-19 scenario, and out of concern for the safety of our clients, students, and employees, New Bolton Center will begin shifting to a Limited Clinical Status: medically necessary appointments and procedures only.
Effective as of Monday, March 16, 2020, we will be:
Allowing only those appointments that address medically necessary conditions, or conditions that if left untreated, would negatively impact the welfare of the animal
Recording postponed appointments and contacting clients to reschedule once the situation moderates
Enforcing updated client and visitor policies for those dropping off/picking up animals and/or medication
Providing veterinary care through our Field Service, with a focus on preventative health and emergencies
Continuing to support the health and well-being of animals in agriculture across the Commonwealth
Providing free telemedicine services to support our referring veterinarian community. For more details, please download our telemedicine information sheet (PDF) or contact Dr. Cris Navas at navasdes@vet.upenn.edu or 979-229-4937.
Our Emergency Service will continue to operate 24/7 for emergencies: 610 444-5800
The Limited Clinical Status restrictions will be in place for a minimum of two weeks and will be reassessed based on COVID-19 progression.
