1. Clinical Research involving small animal diagnostic imaging - Evidence-based imaging
2. Vascular imaging: Computed Tomographic Angiography and Magnetic Resonance Angiography, as it applies to the diagnosis of vascular anatomical abnormalities and also functional (perfusion) evaluation of spontaneous lesions, especially neoplastic.
3. Laboratory rodent high resolution diagnostic imaging / non invasive phenotyping using diagnostic imaging. Dr Mai has completed a PhD in biomedical engineering, during which he studied the implementation and role of high-resolution diagnostic imaging to image in vivo laboratory rodents. Techniques involved were high-resolution digital radiography, high-resolution ultrasound, high field MRI and high resolution CT. Dr Mai completed part of his PhD at the Center for In Vivo Microscopy (Durham, NC), a leader in the field of high resolution MRI.

Radiology, CT, MRI, Canine and Feline Diagnostic Imaging, with focus on computed tomography and magnetic resonance imaging.
