Fuyu Guan, PhD
Fuyu Guan, PhD, is Research Professor of Equine Forensic Chemistry at the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Guan has been recognized nationally and internationally for his work on establishing novel analytical methodologies for the detection and confirmation of peptide- and protein-based drugs for drug testing in horse racing, as well as novel approach to comprehensive untargeted detection of emerging doping agents in post-competition racehorse blood samples. Dr. Guan’s research interests are focused on developing new analytical methods to address challenging issues in equine drug testing to protect the integrity of horse racing, and the application of artificial intelligence in equine drug testing.
