    Kimberly A. Slensky, DVM, DACVECC


    Dr. Slensky graduated from Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine and went on to complete a residency in emergency and critical care at the University of Pennsylvania. She is a boarded diplomate in the American College of Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care and spent 10 years in private practice before rejoining Penn Vet as an assistant clinical Professor in the intensive care unit. Dr. Slensky’s areas of interest include management of the septic patient, pressor therapy, acid base abnormalities in the critically ill, and CPR. She also has a special interest in communication and is a part of the current team of communication educators at Penn Vet.
