Experience with various animal models utilized in biomedical research with a focus on non-human primate medicine, anesthesia and surgery. Interest in integrative medicine including acupuncture and TCVM. Regulatory oversight including protocol review, assisting labs with model development and protocol writing, collaborating with the Office of Animal Welfare on issues related to compliance, and the development of guidelines and policies governing the humane care of research animals at Penn.
