
Leontine Benedicenti, DVM, DACVIM
Dr. Benedicenti graduated from the University of Milan (Italy) in 2004. Following graduation, she worked for four years as general practitioner and ER veterinarian in Milan. In 2008 she moved to Canada, where she completed a one-year rotating internship followed by a one-year Neurology internship at the University of Guelph. In 2011, she moved to Philadelphia where she completed a one-year specialty Neurology internship followed by a Neurology residency at Penn Vet. Dr. Benedicenti became a Diplomate of the American College of Internal Medicine (Neurology) in 2016. She worked as Lecturer at the University of Pennsylvania for two years and she is currently Clinical Assistant Professor at the same institution. Her clinical interests include inflammatory brain diseases and seizure treatments.
