    Dr. Baker has served the agricultural communities for the past 39 years, first as a large animal veterinary practitioner, followed by her current role as a Dairy Field Investigator. Throughout her career, her focus has been on providing sound nutritional advice to dairy producers, improving milk and component yields while applying least cost formulation strategies, both enhancing the economic wellbeing of dairy farms. As a Professor of Clinical Dairy Production Medicine, Dr. Baker instructs veterinary students in areas of dairy nutrition, record analysis evaluating efficiencies in herd milk production and reproduction and finding opportunities to improve the farm’s economic success.
