My career has led to experience with research, management and quality management which has allowed me to develop my abilities to set up and assist in promoting ongoing research across multiple organizations. I have been fortunate to act as a liaison between internal, regulatory and industry contacts and assist with in research project development. These projects have included method validation for industry companies, becoming a part of a developer program for a start-up company as well as research and development projects within my own organization. Most recently I assisted with creating and overseeing a new Chronic Wasting Disease (CWD) ELISA and IHC testing lab in conjunction with the Pennsylvania Animal Diagnostic Lab (PADLS) - New Bolton Center and the Wildlife Futures Program. The CWD lab is within our AAVLD accredited system, with full APHIS/NAHLN approval for testing.
