small intestinal epithelium, Transgenic Mouse Core
This image shows the small intestinal epithelium, where epithelial cell membranes are labeled in red. The nuclei of epithelial-supporting niche cells called telocytes are marked by a novel Foxl1-CreER reporter allele generated in the transgenic facility. Foxl1-CreER mice were crossed to R26-Lox-stop-Lox-SunGFP (Jackson labs 021039), marking the nuclear membrane of telocytes in green. This image was captured by Avital Swisa in the lab of Dr. Klaus Kaestner.

Pricing

Pricing is discounted for bulk service. In addition to these specialized services, the facility will work with individual laboratories to customize assays/experiments upon request.  Further, the core offers training in many of the above techniques on a fee-for-service basis.

Members of the University of Pennsylvania community can make service requests thru the CAMS system. We are listed as VETTRAN.
