Penn Vet comprises two campuses, and each campus is home to a teaching hospital.
Ryan Veterinary Hospital for Companion Animals is located on the Philadelphia campus, at the University of Pennsylvania. Ryan Hospital sees more than 34,600 patients a year, including dogs, cats, less common mammals, and exotic animals such as birds, reptiles and amphibians.
New Bolton Center's Hospital for Large Animals is located in Kennett Square, PA. New Bolton Center is renowned as one of the nation's foremost large-animal hospitals, treating more than 6,200 patients annually, 85 percent of which are horses, while our Field Services have gone out on more than 5,500 farm service calls, treating some 18,700 patients at local farms.
Both hospitals have emergency services 365 days a year, seven days a week, 24 hours a day.
