How to Use Our Service

  • If you are a pet owner and you would like to use the Telemedicine Service, please contact your veterinarian and ask her/him to email your pet's medical record to tele.medicine@vet.upenn.edu.
  • Upon thorough review of the record, our team will contact your veterinarian to schedule a Zoom meeting.
  • At the beginning of the Zoom meeting, we will charge our consultation fee ($284.00) to your veterinarian and your veterinarian will then pass this charge on to you.
  • During the Zoom consultation we will go over your pet's medical record in detail, answer any questions, and discuss various diagnostic and therapeutic options.
  • At the end of the consultation, we will provide a detailed written summary of our conversation to your veterinarian, who can share this report with you.
  • We will be available for free follow-ups with your veterinarian about your pet for one month following the consultation.
