Dr. Davison is an Associate Professor of Avian Medicine and Pathology and has been at Penn Vet for 39 years. She received her BA, VMD, MS, and MBA from the University of Pennsylvania and is board certified by the American College of Poultry Veterinarians. Her major interests are pathology and epidemiology of infectious diseases of poultry. She has been an integral part of the prevention and control efforts of poultry disease outbreaks in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Specific diseases of interest are avian influenza, infectious laryngotracheitis, Infectious Bronchitis, Salmonella Enteritidis, Mycoplasma gallisepticum, and Infectious Coryza and Egg Drop Syndrome.
Major Research Interests: Pathology and epidemiology of infectious diseases of poultry including vaccinal infectious laryngotracheitis, infectious bronchitis, Salmonella enteritidis and avian influenza.
