Bernadette Smith, DVM

Assistant Professor of Clinical Equine Field Service

Bernadette completed a Master’s degree at Colorado State University before attending veterinary school at CSU. She completed internships at Rood & Riddle Equine Hospital and at Cornell Ruffian before entering private practice with Equine Veterinary Care in Maryland. She is an accredited FEI veterinarian with extensive experience in the Thoroughbred industry, with a particular focus in sports medicine, performance and lameness.
