    Julia L. Miller, VMD

    Julia Miller, VMD, cVMA, is an Assistant Professor of Equine Field Service at the University of Pennsylvania New Bolton Center. She grew up in Media, PA, attended Delaware Valley University for her undergraduate studies, and then graduated veterinary school from the University of Pennsylvania in 2013. Upon completion of vet school, Julia pursued a rotating internship at Pilchuck Veterinary Hospital in Washington State and also completed a veterinary acupuncture course at Curacore in 2022. After 11 years in private equine ambulatory practice, Julia returned to New Bolton Center in 2025, where she enjoys all aspects of general equine practice. She is also passionate about fostering the next generation of equine practitioners and enhancing the sustainability of equine veterinary practice.
