    Liz Arbittier, VMD

Dr. Arbittier graduated from Penn Vet in 2001. After graduation, she joined Blauner, Vecchione, and Associates, a large ambulatory private practice, where she remained for 12 years. This is a mythical achievement these days per the veterinary students who ride in her truck! Dr. Arbittier is skilled in all facets of general equine practice, with a focus on sports medicine and special interest in pre-purchase examinations. She also strongly enjoys geriatric and emergency medicine. Dr. Arbittier is certified in veterinary acupuncture from the CHI Institute in Florida. A resident of Coatesville, PA, Dr. Arbittier has competed up to 1.30m in show jumping although is now happy if she remembers to take her monthly bareback hack around the Cheshire Hunt Countryside. In her spare time, Dr. Arbittier runs a dog hospice out of her home and, in 2019 started the website “Hospice Pet” which is a networking system focusing on placing special-needs and hospice animals into loving homes.
