
Maia R. Aitken, DVM, DACVS, DACVECC
Dr. Aitken is a faculty member in the Department of Clinical Studies at New Bolton Center. She received her BA in Biology and Dance from Wesleyan University in 2005 and her DVM from Cornell University in 2009. She completed Large Animal Surgery internships and residency at PennVet’s New Bolton Center, followed by a fellowship in Emergency & Critical Care at New Bolton Center. Her areas of interest include gastrointestinal emergencies and colic surgery, both in farm animals and equine patients, as well as neonatal emergencies and critical care.
