Youwen You obtained his PhD from the University of Wyoming in 2002 and conducted his postdoctoral research at the University of Delaware. He is currently a Research Associate Professor of Equine Forensic Chemistry at the University of Pennsylvania. His research focuses on equine anti-doping control analysis, bioanalytical method development and validation for veterinary drugs, equine drug metabolism, pharmacokinetics, and toxicology. He also serves as an Analytical Research and Forensics Coordinator at the Pennsylvania Equine Toxicology and Research Laboratory, where he ensures accurate equine drug testing through method development, quality control, and regulatory compliance.
