New Bolton Center to Begin Admitting Limited Number of Elective Patients --

January 23, 2018, 2:45 pm -- In consultation with Dr. Aliza Simeone, Pennsylvania’s regional state veterinarian, New Bolton Center will begin to admit a limited number of outpatient and elective patients whose management can be readily restricted to non-quarantined areas within the hospital starting today, January 23, 2018.

New Bolton Center continues to uphold rigorous biosecurity measures which will determine the number of patients admitted.  In an effort to best serve clients, New Bolton Center will begin offering specialized services that are difficult to find elsewhere. New Bolton Center will continue to receive equine and camelid emergencies. All cow, sheep, goat, and pig patients will be admitted and discharged routinely. Field Service and Reproductive services at Hofmann Center remain fully operational.

Penn Vet's New Bolton Center provides an internationally renowned standard of care. Located on a campus of some 700 acres in Chester County, Pennsylvania, New Bolton Center has one of the largest caseloads of any academic large animal hospital in the nation.

We provide both inpatient and outpatient services, handling nearly 4,900 patient visits in the hospital. In addition our Field Service treats more than 38,000 patients on local farms.
